On this somber anniversary of the Joplin Tornado, 1 year ago I wanted to take this opportunity to announce that our Foundation, the Tri-State Motor Transit Co. Employees Benevolence Fund, in association with the Community Foundation of the Ozarks has dispensed $27,183.00 to employees who suffered loss of homes and personal items.

Thanks to all employees and business partners who contributed generously to allow this assistance to take place.

Thanks also to the Foundation Committee consisting of fellow employees, Cheryl Adams, Mike Enslow, Fred Fell, Felicia Joines and Bruce Jones for their time and efforts in assessing needs and processing disbursements to our fellow employees in their time of need

May I ask all of us on this day to take a moment to reflect on the tragic life changing events of 1 year ago and the incredible progress which has taken place.
