For Immediate Release - Bed Rock, Inc. dba Tri-State Motor Transit Co. with its home office based in Joplin, MO has announced its purchase of TAG Transport, Rockwood, TN.

The purchase was finalized on February 15th.

TAG Transport is a Tennessee based hauler specializing in radioactive materials and special cargo.

Tri-State Motor Transit is the nation's oldest truck transporter of radioactive materials commencing work in 1954.  It specializes in the transport of radioactive and transuranic material for the DOE and commercial customers as well as explosives for the commercial and military sectors, hazardous and over-dimensional freight.

"We believe the purchase further solidifies our commitment to the transportation of radioactive materials nationwide." said Glen Garrett, CEO and President of Tri-State.  "We look forward to the addition of Gary Kindrick to the Tri-State Team."  Gary Kindrick, one of the owners of TAG, will be active in the role of customer development.
